TWO DEAD IN BULIISA ROAD ACCIDENT

BULIISA: Two people have Sunday evening perished in the road accident that happened along Hoima – Wanseko road in Buliisa district.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident happened near Buliisa district general hospital after colliding with the pedestrian.

ASP Julius Allan Hakiza the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson confirmed the incident and identified the deceased as Sam Ntairaho the GISO Buliisa, and the pedestrian as Kayesu 20 years old.

The police spokesperson told our reporter that Ntairaho was riding a motorcycle registration number UG 3922 heading to Buliisa before colliding with the pedestrian adding that they died on spot.

Hakiza also explained that the survivor identified as Robert Musinguzi 57 years, a teacher by profession, was rushed to Buliisa district general hospital where he is nursing wounds.

He also disclosed that the postmortem results haven’t been released. Hakiza asserts that the motorcycle was towered from the scene to Buliisa Central Police Station and investigations have commenced.

The Sunday’s accident followed last week`s accident where a 28 year old motorist died instantly and two others sustained injuries in Bukumi Village Biiso Sub County as they were heading to Buliisa.

The deceased only identified as Ondelo, and the injured as Charles Onenchan, and the motorcycle rider Upar all residents of Rwentale Landing site Tonya Parish Buseruka sub county Hoima District met the fate as the rider lost control at a sharp corner hence knocking the road pavements.
