UGANDAN DELEGATION ARRIVES FOR 2ND CANADA NRM CHAPTER SYMPOSIUM
It will take place from Friday, August 11–13, 2023, with a number of expectations.

CANADA: A delegation from Uganda led by the 3rd Deputy Premier, Rt. Hon. Rukia Nakadama, has already arrived in Canada to grace the conference focused on boosting trade, tourism, and investment opportunities for Uganda.
The second edition of the Canada NRM Symposium will take place from Friday, August 11–13, 2023, with a number of expectations, such as strengthening good working relations and tightening the party’s roots, among others, on the bucket list.
The Chairperson of the NRM Chapter in Canada, Mr. Fred Kinene, and his Deputy, Mr. Samson Kaggwe, have noted that the forum will offer participants a platform for networking, marketing and business matchmaking, market knowledge sharing, business-to-business and government-to-government meetings, among others.
Uganda’s High Commissioner to Canada, H.E. Ambassador Joy Ruth Acheng, received the delegation from Uganda and wished them good discussions. She also called upon the Ugandan Diaspora to work together towards socio-economic development.

Rose Namayanja; Senior Presidential Advisor on Diaspora Affairs, Ambassador Hajji Abbey Walusimbi; NRM Director for Administration and Finance, Hajat Medinah; Senior Presidential Advisor for Political Affairs, Moses Byaruhanga; Presidential Aide, Sandra Ndyomugyenyi; Officials from Foreign and Internal Affairs and Education Ministries; Presidential Advisors and Assistants, including Hon. Mutyabule Florence; and Uganda Hotel Association, Susan Muhwezi, among others.
The second edition of the Canada NRM Symposium will take place from Friday, August 11–13, 2023, with a number of expectations, such as strengthening good working relations and tightening the party’s roots, among others, on the bucket list. It will also provide a platform for networking, socializing, and discussing challenges facing Ugandan diasporas in Canada.
