UGANDANS CHALLENGED TO EMBRACE GOV’T PROGRAMS

FORT PORTAL: Ugandans have been challenged to embrace government programs, the challenge was made by the Fort Portal Resident City Commissioner Godwin Angalia Kasigwa and his deputy Allan Bamuha.

The duo called for holistic embracing of the government programs while delivering their Easter Sunday message at St. Stephens Church of Uganda Karambi in North Division Fort Portal City .

Angalia asked the christians to consider all government programs as a first priority, and embrace the industrial hubs in Tooro Subregion for proper skilling of the children of Tooro.

Allan Bamuha the deputy resident city commissioner North Division called for transparency especially to those intending and those who are already beneficiaries in the various government programs.

The presidential representative in the North Division also called for peace and neighborhood watch amongst the people mostly during this Easter season.

Easter, also called “Pascha” or Resurrection Sunday, is a Christian festival and cultural holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day of his burial following his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary.
