ARUA: The people of West Nile are warming up to officially receive Uganda’s first son Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

He is expected in the region on October 22, 2022 to preside over the finals of a tournament organized by team chairman MK project.

Team chairman MK project is headed by Michael Toyota who is working with a number of mobilizers from Kampala and West Nile.

Currently on ground, Raster Guy, the President of the Ghetto community of Arua has mobilized the youth in big numbers to welcome their future President, Gen.Muhoozi to West Nile.

Guy is working hand in hand with Hon. Jackson Atima, the team MK project coordinator for West Nile, Steven Okwaimungu, the team MK West Nile Ambassador, Godfrey Obiga, the youth coordinator and Godfrey Atiku aka Papa Wemba.

Guy has personally been the face of Gen. Muhoozi in West Nile.


He has particularly been meeting youths, the Ghetto members and women in all parts of Arua, preaching the MK project gospel to them

It is on this ground that many people are in high spirits to welcome Gen. Muhoozi to Salim Saleh grounds in Mvara, Arua Central Division in Arua City where the finals will take place.

Currently, the games; both football and netball are ongoing in four zones in the West Nile region.

A total of 19 teams registered for the MK tournament in West Nile of which the teams with the highest points will qualify for the finals.

The tournament is aimed at identifying, nurturing and developing talent among the youth in the region. This will later be rolled out to other regions across the country.

The Presidential Advisor on Special Affairs Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba confirmed his attendance through his twitter handle on Thursday.

”West Nile! We are coming to rock you! Let’s see how strong the MK Army is in West Nile?” he tweeted.
