ARUA: Monopoly bad character aka Agadribo Emmanuel was born on Christmas Day in 1993.
Born from a humble family in Maracha district. He is the first born out of the four children the mother has.
Monopoly speaks four languages that is Luganda, Kiswahili, English and Lugbara his mother tongue though monopoly hails from Maracha, he attended schools from the central region of uganda such as Buganda road primary school, Kitante hill school for his O and A level.
He attained a bachelor in development studies at Makerere University.
Monopoly started music in primary when he would be part of the music dance and drama group at the school.
He started serious music in 2017 with the first serious song 2018 wrap up.
He has a number of songs which are educative, entertaining in the community like Arua song.
Monopoly has risen to fame in West Nile, Uganda and across borders because of his music, because of his dancehall and hip hop (luga flow).
The idea of the maiden concert was in the plans even before lock down but due to restrictions it has been pushed ahead.
According to him, the aim of the concert is to impact the music of monopoly in West Nile, Uganda and across the borders.
The other aim is to start up the culture of organising concerts in West Nile.
Monopoly has been singing the reality of community happenings.
The culture of organising concerts has not been in most of the West Nile artists which he is using as ground breaking.
The maiden concert that will be held at Capital one in the heart of Arua city on 2nd of September is expected to attract people from West Nile, Uganda and other Countries.
