SHEEMA: Police in Sheema are holding a 20 year old woman on allegations of killing her husband as domestic violence cases take twist in the district.

Martial Tumusiime the Greater Bushenyi District Police Spokesperson identifies the suspect as Barbra Nabasa and the deceased as Naboth Atuhaire Kakuba aged 50, a lorry driver in Kabwohe town.

Saul Bwoomi a father to the deceased confided to this reporter that his son vacated his family and got married to another wife they were currently living together in a rented Kabwohe town home leaving Nabasa a mother of his three children bar-maiding at Aharibiri Rwengando trading centre.

The deceased who had separated with the suspect was born in Rwenshama cell, Itendero Kagango division in Sheema District and was stabbed on the neck killing him on spot.

SP Tumusiime narrated that Nabasa was arrested on Friday afternoon at around 3pm as she tried to commit suicide adding that she is still detained at Sheema Central Police Station pending investigations.
